The business of Lemongrass in Bhutan

Here, Collectors from Phuensum Community Forest Group under Mongar District; are using traditional methods for sustainable harvesting from the wild and Distillers using stainless steel and firewood to distill the essential oil. Citral% of the oil is above 70%. Bio Bhutan a firm based in the capital Thimphu, facilitates and markets the oil.
