KHANGMA MARP (Bhutanese red rice)
Red rice is a staple in Bhutan and has been cultivated mainly in the western parts of the country for centuries. It has a high content of fiber and essential nutrients and is ideal for diabetics due to its lower sugar content compared to white rice. It is known for its rich and nutty flavor.
The rice is a product from Dopshari Gewog in Paro Dzongkhang.
