To serve side dishes, but in a traditional setting, the woodenware is used for Tsog (food offering). Traditionally these bowls are kept in temples, monasteries, and traditional kitchens in Bhutan. During rituals, a grand feast of different food items can be seen displayed outside and people make several offerings for the same.

Similarly, smaller serving bowls are also available in sizes of 8.7 inches in diameter.

The Dapas are traditionally used in monasteries and it is one of the most popular wooden wares you will in Bhutanese homes.

Materials: Burr or wood from Alder, Maple and Red cedar.
